What to Look for When Buying a Gaming PC

If you are in the market for a new gaming pc there are several factors you should consider before you take the plunge on a new purchase.

With level of detail and complexity packed into the modern pc game, performance is key. Look for systems with a multi-core processor. With a multi-core system, one or more processors can handle just the operating system and background applications, while others can be dedicated to your game. What to Look for When Buying a New PC

The new generation of personal computers is impressive indeed. The price drops have no resulted in a lack of quality. Quite the opposite, in fact. We now have access to more memory, faster processors, and a host of features that will allow us to make the most of our computer.

What is the Best Software for Tax Preparation?

I have been using software to prepare my taxes for a few years. My dad introduced me to TaxACT, which I used and had always been happy with. When I got married, my father-in-law suggested I use a different type of software, TurboTax. That first year I was married I prepared my taxes using both programs in order to compare the two.

Since my financial information was the same, I received an equal refund from both preparers. TurboTax was a program my father-in-law purchased. However, I don’t want to pay money to have my taxes filed. TaxACT is a free (more…)
