Internet. Whether you’re building a PC from scratch or updating your current rig, the issue always comes up. Which internet service are you going to look into?
To figure this out, it often helps to gauge what your internet needs are and move from there. Do you like the mobility and freedom of accessing your internet via smartphones, tablets and laptops? Might be a good idea to look at a provider with an emphasis on Wi-Fi.
Are you more of a turtle preferring to do some major downloading and streaming on your beefy desktop tower? In that case, you might want something a little more centralized.
Figuring out what’s available in your area can also help narrow the search. If you’re in a more secluded area, for example, you might want to check out sites like www.satelliteinternetspecials.net/hughes-net/California/ for information on satellite internet service.

I have been using software to prepare my taxes for a few years. My dad introduced me to TaxACT, which I used and had always been happy with. When I got married, my father-in-law suggested I use a different type of software, TurboTax. That first year I was married I prepared my taxes using both programs in order to compare the two.
Since my financial information was the same, I received an equal refund from both preparers. TurboTax was a program my father-in-law purchased. However, I don’t want to pay money to have my taxes filed. TaxACT is a free (more…)
